Description

This road bridge, located over a stream, dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of shale rubble with dressed granite quoins, lintels, and copings. The bridge features two spans with flat lintel openings and has a wide central pier that includes a semi-circular cutwater added later to the upstream side. The parapets are topped with hogs back copings. While it is a simple structure, it is complete and has well-finished coping.
