Description
Calenick Bridge is a road bridge over a stream, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of slatestone rubble with granite voussoirs, granite copings, and a granite ashlar vault. The bridge features a single span with segmental, almost round arches on both the west and east sides. It has plain rubble parapets that are slightly ramped and topped with hogs back copings. This bridge is noted for being a very complete and unaltered example of its type.
