Description

This is a vicarage, dating to around 1880, now used as a house. It is constructed of dressed Killas stone with granite dressings, and has dry Delabole slate roofs. A prominent central stack features a cluster of brick shafts with stepped cornices. The building follows a double-depth plan, with a parlour on the left side, a dining room behind, a study on the right, and a large stair hall situated behind the study, with a service wing extending behind the stair hall.

The two-storey main facade is of two bays, with a hipped-roof canted bay on the left and a square-cornered bay on the right, topped by a gable with pointed-arched bargeboards. A pointed-arched gable window with Y-tracery is visible in the right bay, and the left bay has a pointed-arched attic window, also with Y-tracery. An elaborate timber and glazed porch is located on the right side.

The interior is largely original and retains its features, including an open-well staircase with octagonal column balusters. A stair window with coloured glass depicting Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John is also present. Additionally, the interior contains moulded cornices, panelled doors, and likely original wooden chimney pieces.
