Suburban villa, or possibly 3 villas, now 3 houses. c1860s. Faced local golden stone brought to course over granite ashlar plinth; granite quoins and other dressings; some stucco dressings; fairly steep Delabole slate roofs, partly bitumen grouted, with shaped and pierced wooden barge boards and stuccoed axial stacks with modillion cornices. Irregular double-depth plan. 2 storeys, plus some attics; irregular 1:1:2:1-bay road front with 1-window bay set back on the left, then moulded segmental hoods over original 2-pane horned sashes over 2 round-headed lights with moulded hoods to left-hand bay, over canted bay window with balustraded parapet to next bay and over 12-pane sash with moulded hood to other bay. Left-hand return of these 3 bays has single light over 2-centred arched doorway with panelled door and plain overlight. Projecting gable at far right has 12-pane sash over 12-pane sash in similar stuccoed openings. Far left-hand return is 2 gable ends with 2 tripartite sashes over 2 canted bay windows like the front bay. Right-hand return has 12-pane sash over 2 single-storey wings. INTERIOR not inspected but likely to be of interest. Included for group value.
