Description

Orchard House is a house that likely dates from the mid-19th century. It is constructed from snecked killas rubble with granite quoins and dressings, topped with a slurried slate roof and featuring brick chimneys. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with three symmetrical bays. The central doorway is recessed and has two round-headed panels along with a shallow overlight. The windows are 12-pane unhorned sashes with exposed boxes. The roof is hipped with projecting eaves and has chimneys on the side walls. The rear and interior of the house have not been inspected. Orchard House has group value with Praze Green, which is located to the left.
