Description

Menadarva Bridge is a public road bridge over the Red River, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from killas rubble with granite dressings. This small two-span structure features semicircular arches made with granite voussoirs and has triangular cutwaters with granite quoins. The bridge has plain coping made of roughly dressed granite and a flat deck that is protected by modern cylindrical rails set in roughly-hewn granite posts mounted in the coping.
