Description
Glyn Garth is a house, likely built in the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed from uncoursed killas rubble with granite quoins and dressings, topped with a slate roof. The building has a double-depth plan and is two storeys high with three symmetrical bays. The central doorway features an altered door and an overlight with margin panes. The unhorned sashed windows have unusual horizontal glazing bars and margin panes, with all openings framed by quoined jambs and rectangular lintels. The roof is hipped, and there are side-wall chimneys. A large single-storey lean-to addition is located at the right-hand end. The rear and interior of the house have not been inspected. Glyn Garth has group value with Oak Villa, which is located next door but one to the left.
