Description
The former maltings, known as Mallett's Store, is a building from the early 19th century located in Truro. It is constructed from Killas rubble, some of which is painted. The building features hipped roofs, with the front roof being corrugated and the parallel rear roof covered in dry Delabole slate, topped with a pyramidal roof that has a ventilator in the center. It has cast-iron ogee gutters. The structure consists of two adjoining parallel rectangular ranges, with the rear range projecting to the right. It is two storeys high with a basement and has a nearly symmetrical three-window arrangement. The central doorway features a V-jointed ledged door with an overlight above it. There is a fixed light with small panes over the doorway, and to the left, there are sash windows, while the first-floor right has a five-light window with vertical glazing bars and random panes. The interior has not been inspected.
