Description
Trevail is a house from the early 19th century, located on North Street in Marazion. The front is made of granite and elvan rubble, with granite dressings and rusticated quoins, while the rest is painted rubble. It has an asbestos slate roof with projecting eaves that are panelled underneath and verges. The house has a double-depth plan featuring two equal rooms at the front, separated by a cross passage that leads to a central stair hall at the rear, along with two service rooms. The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window north front, with a blind central window. The central doorway features a panelled door and an overlight. The windows are 6-pane horned sashes, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century. The interior has not been inspected. The forecourt includes a granite ashlar plinth that runs parallel to the front, which was formerly topped with iron railings. The building is included for its group value.
