Description
Treva House is a house from the 18th century, likely refronted in the 19th century. It features a granite ashlar front, while the rest of the building is made of stucco and rubble. The roof is made of grouted scantle slate and is hipped at both the front and rear. There are tall brick chimneys from the late 19th century on the side walls. The layout consists of two rooms deep, with a large reception room at the front, an axial passage behind, and probably two rooms at the rear. The front is in a classical style, which may have been added in the 19th century.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical two-window south-west front without a doorway. It features a plinth, rusticated chamfered quoins, keyed flat arches with projecting keystones, a first-floor sill band, and a parapet with an entablature of band and cornice topped with a blocking course. The windows are late 19th or 20th century 16-pane horned sashes, and there are 20th century boarded external shutters. The interior has not been inspected.
