Description

This building and the adjoining yard walls, located approximately 10 meters northwest of the Old School House, were formerly used as stores and stables for fishermen's donkeys. They date from around the 1870s and are constructed of killas rubble with granite dressings, topped with a scantle slate roof featuring gable ends. The building has a rectangular plan, likely with a central axial partition running from end to end, dividing both the front and rear into two rooms. The left-hand end features a pair of entrance doorways. There is a loft in the roof space used for storage.

The exterior is single-storey and symmetrical, with a two-window front and a similar rear, both featuring original three-light casement windows with six panes per light. The left-hand gable end serves as the entrance front and includes the pair of doorways with shuttered ventilators above, along with original ledged doors. The interior has not been inspected. At the rear left, granite-coped rubbled walls connect, and there are high walls surrounding a rectangular courtyard at the front. The front left-hand corner is rounded to follow the curve of the road.
