9/209 Building and adjoining yard walls - at approximately 10 metres north west of Old School House

GV II

Former stores and stables for fishermen's donkeys and adjoining courtyard walls. Circa 1870s. Killas rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with gable ends. Plan: Rectangular plan, probably with central axial partition from end to end and both front and rear divided into 2 rooms. There is a pair of entrance doorways into the left-hand end. Loft in roof space used for storage. Exterior: Single storey. Symmetrical 2 window front (and similar rear) with original 3-light casement windows with 6 panes per light. Left-hand gable end is the entrance front and has pair of doorways with shuttered ventilators over. Original ledged doors. Interior: not inspected. Granite coped rubbled walls adjoins at rear left and there are high walls around a rectangular courtyard at the front. The front left-hand corner is rounded following the curve of the road.
