Description

This building complex consists of a barn, coach house, and stables, dating from around the 1840s. It is constructed from killas and granite rubble with granite dressings, topped with a dry Delabole slate hipped roof over the coach house, while the other structures have scantle slate hipped roofs. The complex features louvered ventilators on the right-hand (east) range and a brick chimney at the rear right-hand corner.

The layout includes four ranges of buildings surrounding a rectangular yard, with the coach house and stables located at the front (south), a bank barn on the left (west) built into a bank, and probable stables in single-storey ranges on the right (east) and at the rear. There is a wide gateway at the rear towards the left.

The exterior showcases a two-storey (including loft) coach house and a two-storey barn on the east front, while the other structures are single storey. The elevations are largely unaltered, although some original openings have been blocked. The south front features the coach house with a wide doorway on the left, four small doorways flanked by small windows on the ground floor, and two first-floor windows on the right. A mounting block is located under a blocked doorway towards the left. The barn has a two-storey east front with shallow arches and key blocks over the openings, along with old doors and windows. The rear of the barn includes wide doorways on the left and right, likely leading to threshing floors, and original barred windows with shutters. The interior was not inspected.
