Description

MORVAH ROSEMERGY SW 43 NW 3/197 Barn and adjoining cartshed at - approximately 40 metres north west of Rosemergy Farmhouse GV II Barn and adjoining cartshed. Circa early C19. Granite rubble with granite dressings. Scantle slate roof with gable ends to barn, corrugated iron over cartshed. Plan: Small rectangular barn with granary over shippon. Exterior: 2 storeys. Nearly symmetrical north barn front with central doorway and small window at either side. First floor window left, partly blocked loading/winnowing doorway, right (similar opening at rear). Adjoining at right the gable end of a former cartshed with wide doorway partly blocked and weatherboarded above lintel. Interior: not inspected. Part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet set amid an ancient field system.
