Description
The building is a piggery located north of Rosemergy Farmhouse, dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of granite rubble with granite dressings and features a grouted scantle slate roof with gable ends. The piggery has a rectangular plan, originally consisting of four pig pens arranged in a row, with a feeding passage at the rear accessed through a doorway in the south gable end. There is a doorway to each pen at the front (west). The original granite partitions were removed in 1986. This structure is part of an unspoiled coastal hamlet situated within an ancient field system.
