Description

The Well of Saint Just, located approximately 100 meters east of the Church of Saint Just, is a holy well with medieval origins that was rebuilt around the 19th century. It is constructed from slatestone rubble and has an irregular plan that is wider within, built into the hillside. The entrance doorway faces west and features rubble jambs with a slate slab above. The water from this well is used for baptisms.
