Description
The Well of Saint Anthony is a holy well located in Gerrans. It has medieval origins, but the current structure likely dates from the 19th century. The well is constructed from slatestone rubble and is rectangular in shape. It features a small entrance on the north side, which has rubble jambs and a lintel. The well is built into a bank, and its interior consists of vertical rubble walls with a roof made of stone slabs.
