2 adjoining cottages in row. C17/C18. Slatestone rubble walls, wheat reed thatched roofs and brick chimneys over gable end and party wall. Each cottage has 2 room plan plus small C20 rear extension. 2 storeys. 2 window south west fronts each with nearly central doorway. Painted, left-hand cottage has C20 lean-to porch with Delabole slate roof, partly glazed planked door, C20 metal casements in original openings to ground floor and widened openings to first floor, eyebrowed thatch over. Right cottage is less altered and has mostly untouched stone front, C20 lean-to porch with window, top glazed door and slate roof. 4-pane horned sash left of porch in original opening with wooden lintel, C20 bow window right in widened opening. C19, 12-pane, 2-light casements to first floor in original openings. Straight eaves. Interior of right cottage is little altered and retains bowtell moulded beams, muntin and plank pine partitions and a recess in back wall of right room with butterfly hinged door.
