Description

This barn, located 15 metres north of Strayerpark Farmhouse, dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed and dressed local stone and features a slate roof with hipped ends. The barn has a rectangular plan, likely with shippons on the ground floor and a loft above. It stands two storeys tall, with dressed stone arches over the ground floor openings. There are two shippon doors flanking two central partly blocked door openings, which have 20th-century windows. Above, there is a loft door with a slate hood. The interior has not been inspected.
