Description

This barn, located about 8 metres south of Strapp Farmhouse, is likely from the late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed ham stone rubble, with ashlar quoins and copings, and features a roof covered with triple-roll clay tiles that have replaced the original thatch. The barn is two storeys high and has three bays. The first and third bays include shuttered windows on the first floor, while the second bay has a divided door with its sill positioned approximately 1.2 metres above the ground level. There is a small gable vent at the southeast end of the building. The interior has not been seen.
