Description
The converted stables of the Manor House, dating from the 18th century, have been transformed into a house. The building features stone rubble construction with Polyphant stone dressings and a slate roof with hipped ends. It has 20th-century axial stacks. The layout consists of a single depth plan with a central entrance, housing stables and a carriage house on the ground floor, and a loft above. In the late 20th century, the building was extended by one bay on both the left and right sides.
The exterior is two storeys tall and almost symmetrical, with a six-window front. The ground floor openings have dressed stone arches, with the entrances to the stable and carriage house partly blocked and fitted with 20th-century casement windows. A central chamfered granite four-centred arch is flanked by two and three-light casements and 20th-century doors. The first floor features six 20th-century two-light casements, with a roundel in the central gable. The interior has not been inspected.
