Description

This milestone, located 210 metres to the southwest of Bravery, dates from the early 19th century. It is a granite monolith that has a rectangular shape with a rounded top. The milestone is painted white, featuring incised letters that are painted black, which read: "B 6". This indicates its position on the turnpike road, which was established for roads leading to Bodmin under acts passed in 1769.
