Description
Tor View is a house dating from around the early 19th century. It is built of painted and rendered stone rubble, with slate hanging above the ground floor. The roof is of rag slate, with gable ends, and features projecting stone rubble end stacks on both the left and right sides. The house has a double-depth plan, with a central entrance flanked by two principal rooms, each heated by an end stack, and narrower service rooms located at the rear. The front facade is almost symmetrical, featuring a 20th-century glazed porch centrally located, flanked by two 20th-century three-light casement windows. Two similar casement windows are on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
