Description
Chy Meyn is a house built around the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with ashlar stone quoins and voussoirs, topped with a slate roof that has gable ends. The building features brick shafts at the end stacks. The layout is a double depth plan with a central entrance leading to the main rooms at the front, which are heated by the end stacks, while service rooms and the staircase are located at the rear.
The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front. The central entrance has a dressed stone 4-centred arched opening, which contains a 19th-century panelled door and a small fanlight above. On either side of the entrance are two 19th-century six-pane sash windows, with three similar sash windows on the first floor. The interior has not been inspected.
