Description
This building is a house located directly in front of Merlin's Cottage, dating from around the mid-18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, which is rendered and painted on the front, and features a rag slate roof with gable ends and stone rubble end stacks.
The house has a two-room layout with a cross or through passage. The smaller room is on the left side and is heated by an end stack, while the larger room on the right is also heated by an end stack.
The exterior is two storeys high with an asymmetrical front that has three windows. There is a 19th-century panelled door with a rectangular fanlight located to the left of centre. To the left, there are 20th-century bay windows, and to the right, there are two similar windows. On the first floor, there are three 4 over 8 pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
