Description

Hilldo Cottage is a house dating from around the early 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble, with a rag slate roof featuring gable ends and end stacks. The building likely has a double-depth plan, with the main entrance positioned slightly to the right of the centre. The two front rooms are heated by the end stacks, and service rooms are situated at the rear. A door on the far left likely provides access to the rear of the property.

The front of the house presents a regular three-window façade. It contains early 19th century 12-pane hornless sash windows, a plank door to the far left, and a 19th-century four-panel door to the right of the centre. The interior of the cottage has not been inspected.
