Description
The tomb chest of J. Benoke, located 7 meters south of the south transept of the Church of St. Symphorian, dates from 1742 and commemorates James Benoke, who died that year. It is constructed from slate rubble and features a rectangular slate lid. The chest has a marginal inscription and an inner panel adorned with a nowy head, angel's head, and floral motifs. The inscriptions are crafted in fine quality lettering with serifs, along with a verse in cursive script.
