Description

FORRABURY AND FORRABURY SX 0990 MINSTER 7/56 Tombchest of J. Benoke 7m to south of south transept of Church of St Symphorian GV II Tombchest 1742. In memory of James Benoke who died in 1742. Slate rubble chest and slate rectangular lid. Marginal inscription, inner panel with nowy head decorated with angel's head and floral motifs. Inscribed in fine quality lettering with serifs and verse in cursive script.
