Description

GRADE-RUAN CADGWITH SW 71 SW 9/27 The Vines (previously listed as Man-O-War) 10 7 57 GV II 2 cottages. C18. Whitewashed rubble with upper plastered cob walls. Thatched roof. Rendered brick chimneys. 2 storeys. Symmetrical 2 window front on right. Cottage on left. 4-pane sash window on left of C19 porch with whitewashed brick piers and slate roof. Above ground floor window, 4-pane casement window. Outshut on left-hand gable, whitewash rubble with slate roof. Cottage on right, two 4-pane sash windows flanking central gabled C19 porch with plastered rubble walls and slate roof. Timber boarding in gable. Early C19 4- panelled door with upper panels glazed. Two 4-pane sash windows above ground floor openings. Thatched roof stepped up at junction between 2 cottages. Chimneys at gable ends and at junction. Interior not inspected.
