Description
This barn, located 15 metres to the south-west of a disused farmhouse at East Tremollett, is possibly from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with granite dressings and features a slate roof with a hipped end. The barn has an overall rectangular plan, with shippons on the ground floor and a threshing floor above. The exterior is two storeys high and has an asymmetrical front, which includes double feeding doors and three shippon doors on the ground floor. A granite lintel runs above the ground floor as a string band. On the first floor, to the left of centre, there are double doors leading to the threshing floor, which is covered by a slate hipped hood. Inside, the barn has roughly cut floor beams.
