Description
This is a barn located 10 metres east of West Tremollett Farmhouse, dating from around the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with granite dressings and quoins, topped with a slate roof that has hipped ends. The barn has a rectangular plan, likely originally featuring shippons on the ground floor with a loft above.
The barn stands two storeys tall. The rear elevation, which faces the right side of the farmhouse, is unaltered and includes a 19th-century plank door on the right. The front elevation is partly obscured by a 20th-century shed, but the exterior remains largely unchanged. Granite lintels above the ground floor openings create a continuous string band, with a loft opening situated above. The barn is part of a group with the farmhouse. The interior has not been inspected.
