Description

Rogers Tomb, located approximately 51 metres east of the Church of St Phillack, is a chest tomb dating from the early 19th century, dedicated to the Rogers family. It features dressed granite monolithic sides and an incised slate inset set into a square-edged granite lid. The tomb is rectangular in shape and is inscribed with the names of John Rogers, who died in 1814 at the age of 64, and his wife Francis, who died in 1832 at the age of 80.
