Description
The Church of All Saints features a notable tombstone in its churchyard dedicated to Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers, who passed away in 1759, and Richard Rogers, who died in 1773. This is a large table tomb consisting of a substantial double slab base topped by a prominent central table tomb. Flanking the central tomb are two smaller table tombs, each with a moulded top. The central tomb, honoring Mrs. Elizabeth Rogers and Richard Rogers, includes moulded side panels and bulbous corner pilasters that have moulded bases and capitals. The tomb is located approximately 20 feet from the south wall of the church.
