Description

The former railway bridge over Copperhouse Creek, built in 1837 for the Hayle Railway, now serves as part of a public footpath. It is constructed of Killas and granite rubble, featuring dressed granite voussoirs for the road arches and granite hogs-back copings on the parapets. The bridge has three equal spans of round arches and is built obliquely over a tidal stream, with rounded cutwaters on the upstream side. It measures 7.64 meters long and 3.67 meters wide.
