Description
31 Church Street is a small town house with a later shop, likely built in the 18th century. The front is rendered, and it has a steep asbestos slate roof with a brick stack on the right. The building has a deep plan that includes a wing at a right angle to the rear right. It is two storeys high and has a one-window range. The central window is a late 19th-century four-pane horned sash. To the left, there is a small mid-19th-century two-light shop front with sidelights, featuring two panes per light and a moulded entablature above a flat roof. There is also a wide late 19th-century split V-jointed ledged door on the left. The interior has not been inspected.
