Description
Porlock is a small house with a later shop, dating from the 18th century. It features a pebbledash exterior on a rubble base, a steep dry slate roof, and a brick end stack on the right side. The house has a U-shaped plan with an open courtyard on the right. It is two storeys high and has a two-window range. On the right side, there is an early to mid-19th century 12-pane hornless sash window above a 12-pane two-light casement in a squat opening. On the left side, there is a mid to late 19th century 4-pane hornless sash window above a 20th century three-light casement with glazing bars in a wide opening that was formerly a shop window. The central doorway features a four-panel top-glazed door and a 20th century slate hood supported by wooden brackets. The interior has not been inspected.
