Description

Sherwood is a house dating from the 18th century, located in a row of buildings on the south side of West Looe Hill. It is constructed of painted rubble with timber lintels and features a steep slurried rag slate roof. The house has a single-depth plan with an additional wing at the rear right. It stands two storeys tall and has a symmetrical two-window front. The windows are 20th-century four-pane horned sashes set in square openings with slate sills. The central doorway features a 19th-century four-panel door, which has flush bottom panels and top panels that have been later glazed, along with a simple slate hood above. The interior is reported to be unaltered.
