Description
Rosemount is a house dating from the 18th century, located on the north side of Middleham Market Place. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features an artificial slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with rusticated quoins and openings that have ashlar surrounds.
On the ground floor, there is an entrance that leads to the rear, featuring a board door set in a round-arched surround supported by plinths, with imposts and a keystone. Additionally, there is a casement window, a six-panel door with a small overlight in a surround on plinths, and a four-pane sash window. The first floor includes four-pane sash windows. The roof is adorned with shaped kneelers, ashlar copings, and end stacks.
