Description
Kent House is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building has three storeys and three bays, with rusticated quoins. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed door set in a moulded eared surround on plinths, which is topped with a pulvinated frieze and cornice. This door is flanked by 20th-century square bays that contain casement windows. Above the entrance, there are sash windows in plain ashlar surrounds, with the windows on the second floor being half the size of those below. The house also has shaped kneelers, ashlar copings, and corniced end stacks.
