Description
The Black Bull is a public house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rubble and painted white, topped with a stone slate roof. The building stands 2½ storeys tall and features two bays with quoins. In the first bay, there is a 20th-century six-panel door set within an inserted 20th-century ashlar surround. The windows have ashlar surrounds, with four-pane sashes on the ground and first floors, and smaller, square six-pane sashes on the second floor. The roof is hipped with a central stack. There is also an original doorway, now blocked, located in an ashlar surround on the left return.
