Description
Egypt is a house dating from the 18th century or earlier. It is constructed of coursed squared rubble with timber lintels and features a stone slate roof. The building has a lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, presenting a three-window range. The entrance consists of a six-panelled door, two of which are glazed, set in a simple doorcase topped with a flat hood supported by consoles. This door is flanked by 16-pane sash windows, while the first-floor windows also include glazing bars. The house has two gabled dormers with casement windows and a central ridge chimney. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have a winder stair adjoining the central stack.
