Description
No. 3 Brown's Lane is an 18th-century house constructed of coursed squared rubble. It features timber lintels on the ground floor and has a stone slate roof at the front, with slates at the rear. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and has a two-window range. Access is via two steps leading up to a panelled door, which is flanked by sash windows that have glazing bars. On the first floor, there are small 16-pane sashes with horns. The house includes a 20th-century boarded half-dormer with a three-light casement. There are two chimneys at the ends of the building and lean-to extensions at the rear. The interior has not been inspected, but it likely features winder stairs positioned to the front left beside the chimney.
