Description

This is an 18th-century stone pedestal located about 40 metres southeast of The French House in Edgcumbe Country Park. The pedestal is square and stands on a moulded base. It was originally topped by the Statue of Hermes, which has since been moved and is now situated approximately 20 metres south of Edgcumbe House.
