Description

Alexandra Cottage is a 17th-century house located in a row on Fore Street in West Looe. The exterior features roughcast render on a rubble base and a steep asbestos slate roof with half-hipped ends at both the front and rear. There is a partly external lateral stack on the right-hand side. The building has a deep plan that faces the street and consists of two storeys with a one-window range. The windows are 20th-century replicas with glazing bars, including a horned sash above four-light casements. To the right of the building, there is a doorway with a possibly original gabled slate roof supported by console brackets, along with a 20th-century door and additional 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected.
