Description
Park Cottage is a small house dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features painted rubble walls and a steep corrugated iron roof, which was originally thatched, with tall rubble stacks at the gable ends. The building has cast-iron ogee-section gutters. The original layout consists of a two-room plan, likely with a lobby entrance and stair between the rooms. There are later 19th-century lean-tos added at the rear. The exterior is two storeys high, with a symmetrical east front that has two windows and a central doorway, which contains a 20th-century door. The ground floor has 20th-century two-pane casements, while the upper floor features older, possibly 19th-century four-pane casements. The interior has not been inspected.
