Description
The bridge and village pump at St Hilary Relubbus, located at the grid reference SW565319, is a Grade II listed structure. This early 19th-century bridge spans a culvert that leads from a spring, and it is accompanied by a late 19th-century Bamfords universal pump. The construction features granite rubble and dressed granite, with a cast-iron pump. There are low parapets on either side of the road, with the north parapet having a curtailed-on-plan west end that includes a platform of a similar shape, where the iron pump is mounted. The parapets have cambered copings. The pump is fully intact, featuring a shaped handle and fluted decoration on the barrel, spout, and dome. Adjacent to the pump is an iron bucket stand with an iron grid.
