Description
The Sunday School, located 25 meters to the northeast of the Parish Church in Menheniot, was built around the 1860s. It is constructed from rubblestone with cut stone dressings and features a slate roof with gable ends and crested ridge tiles. A stone projecting stack with a brick shaft is situated on the northwest side. The building has a rectangular plan and is designed in the Gothic style, consisting of a single storey with a three-window west front. This front includes three pairs of windows with round-cusped heads, which retain their original colored glass in roundels, and are framed by ashlar window dressings. The west gable end features a three-light window with round-cusped heads. The entrance is located in the east gable end, to the left, and is accessed by three granite steps, with a dressed stone chamfered surround to the arch. The interior has been partitioned in the 20th century. The building is included for its group value.
