Description

The Old School is a former school building located within the parish churchyard, dated 1824. It is constructed of random rubble chert and features a gable end slate roof with crested ridge tiles and coping with ball-finials. The building has a simple rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall.

The south front is symmetrical with a two-window range, showcasing pointed three-light windows. The datestone is positioned between the first-floor windows. There is a small square-headed west doorway, which is slightly off centre and retains its original planked and studded door. An internal rear stack is present, featuring a brick shaft. The interior has not been inspected.
