Description
The Old School House is a detached house that was originally a school, built in the early 19th century. It features coursed rubblestone with brick bands and a fishscale tiled roof with double gables facing the churchyard, along with brick stacks. The building is two stories high and has two windows. The north front showcases two tall four-light mullioned windows with arched lights on both the ground and first floors, as well as a blocked two-light mullioned window with a hoodmould between the floors, which once lit the former stairs. The gables have coped verges, blind quatrefoils, and pinnacles. On the left side, there is a 20th-century glazed door leading to the first floor. The rear of the building also has two tall four-light mullioned windows with arched lights on each floor, and to the left, there is a 20th-century glazed porch and entrance with a hipped roof. The interior has not been inspected.
