Description
This is a school building dated 1831, with a later extension to the south. It is constructed from coursed, squared rubble with quoins and features graduated slate roofs. The original building has a stone chimney at the north end and a small bellcote at the south. It is a single storey structure with four bays overall, and there is a blocked door in the north wall. On the west side, there are three semicircular-headed windows with glazing bars, each having projecting keystones and an impost band around their stone surrounds. Above the central window, there is a date panel with an inscription. The extension includes a three-light window with stop-chamfers to the mullions and surround. A late 20th-century flat-roofed addition on the east side is not included in the listing.
