Description

Comfrey Cottage is an early 19th-century house located in Cothill, within the parish of Bude-Stratton. The house is whitewashed and rendered, with a slate roof gabled at each end. A rendered chimney is situated on the right gable. The two-storey, two-window front features a 20th-century front door centrally placed. The ground floor has a two-light casement window to the left, with six panes per light, and a twelve-pane sash window to the right. The first floor has a two-light casement window to the left, again with six panes per light, and a 20th-century two-light casement window above the door containing two panes. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage forms part of a group of listed buildings and is included for its group value.
