Description

Little Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It has a colourwashed and rendered exterior with an asbestos slate roof that is gabled at both ends and features a stack at the right end. The building has a single depth, two-room plan with a central entrance.

The cottage is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-bay front. The central front door is topped with a rectangular fanlight and is flanked by 16-pane early 19th-century sash windows on the ground floor. On the first floor, there are two casement windows with two lights and glazing bars.

The interior has not been inspected. Little Cottage is part of a row of cottages located opposite Church House and is included in a group at the north-west end of the village.
